Hauling a 20 ft Deck Boat From an Eloy Garage

We pulled up to an Eloy property in June and saw a white Hurricane SunDeck 201 tucked deep into a detached garage. The white gelcoat had turned chalky from years in the sun, and the red boot stripe was faded. The homeowner was moving out of state and needed the 20 ft deck boat off the property before closing on the house.

The boat barely fit between the garage door frame and the back wall. Rolling it straight out meant driving across a patch of loose, powdery desert soil that would sink a heavy truck to its axles. We laid thick plywood sheets down from the concrete slab out to the solid dirt driveway to make a temporary runway. Our crew attached a hand winch to the trailer tongue and slowly rolled the sterndrive boat out by hand without letting the tires dig into the dirt.

Once the trailer hit hard ground, we loaded the boat onto our flatbed. We hauled the hull to a facility that processes fiberglass scrap and sent the outboard metals to recycling. Boats over 20 feet are priced over the phone, because size and setting change the work. Call 833-658-4847 if you need boat removal in Eloy or anywhere in Pinal County.

In our experience, desert heat ruins sits faster than rain. Hard sun splits vinyl seats, chalks gelcoat, and turns dry trailer tires into dust that bursts under load. Before proper disposal, our crew drains all fuel, crankcase oil, and gear fluid into approved containers, then pulls the battery for safe processing.

Before you call: two common questions

Do I need a title to have my boat removed?

No, a title makes the process faster, but it is not always required. When boat owners do not have the title, we sign a release of liability form. That paperwork documents the transfer so the craft is off your name before we haul it away.

How to get rid of a bad boat?

Call us to handle the entire job from your property. We bring the winch, flatbed, and cutting tools needed to tow or transport the hull. Our crew drains hazardous materials like fuel and oil, then hauls the scrap to a landfill or recycling facility.

Boat removal throughout Pinal County

Crews cover Pinal County: Casa Grande, Coolidge, Florence and Maricopa. Summer moves and property sales across the valley often leave old hulls behind in yards and sheds. We haul away sun-baked runabouts and deck boats before dirt driveways turn to mud or intense heat makes moving them dangerous.
